Vietnamese pickleball player Phuc Huynh concluded 2025 with one of the most impressive campaigns on the Asian circuit, cementing his reputation as a rising force within the sport.
Huynh’s consistent excellence throughout the year earned him third place in the overall standings of the inaugural Professional Pickleball Association (PPA) Tour Asia - a series that brought top international competitors to multiple countries across the region.
His season highlights included two gold medals on home soil at the MB Vietnam Cup and the MB Vietnam Open, showcasing dominance in front of local fans and affirming his status among Asia’s elite competitors. Huynh also stood tall internationally with a silver finish at the Sansan Fukuoka Open, further underlining his ability to compete beyond national borders.
International and League Contributions
Huynh didn’t limit his efforts to tour stops alone. In late 2025, he took part in the Indian Pickleball League (IPBL), donning the colours of the Bengaluru Blasters as part of the league’s competitive roster in New Delhi. While the Blasters didn’t claim the championship, Huynh’s play was noted as instrumental in keeping the team competitive during the round‑robin phase.
His presence in the league also drew attention from fans and local media, reinforcing how quickly his star is rising across the broader Asian pickleball community.

Reflecting on 2025 and Looking Ahead
Huynh marked 2025 as his first full year living and competing in Vietnam, a shift he described as both personally significant and professionally uplifting. Taking to social media, he called the past season “an unforgettable year,” filled with milestones he once only imagined.
He also highlighted how witnessing the sport’s rapid expansion in Vietnam has shaped his perspective. “Watching the rise and explosive growth of pickleball in Vietnam has been absolutely unreal,” he said, emphasizing his pride in contributing to that momentum.
